‘Big Time’ A Finalist in the 2026 Stanthorpe Art Prize

I’m incredibly thrilled that my portrait of Hoa Xuande, ‘Big Time’ has been chosen as a Finalist for the 2026 Stanthorpe Art Prize.

The Stanthorpe Art Prize is one of Australia’s richest Art Prizes. Their website says, “Since 1972, the biennial Stanthorpe Art Prize has been a beacon for artistic talent, attracting entries from across Australia. The exceptional quality of the selected works underscores its esteemed position within the Australian arts community. ”

Winners will be announced on the 12th of June at the gallery from 6pm – 9.30pm. Tickets for the evening can be booked here.

This is my second time placing as a Finalist in the prize, the first was in 2021 with my Portrait of Kim Leutwyler. I’m so grateful for my work, which has yet to be formally, can be done so in such a beautiful gallery for such a prestigious prize.

The Finalists exhibition will be open from the 12th of June to the 23rd of August, 2026.
